Death to all but METAL!

So, some good news came in recently! Ben has his Karman Ghia back! its been away at the body shop for over 20months now because of an insurance claim after a crash! but its now looking sweet as a nut and I'm sure its going to be a corker!


Here it is just after he crashed it on the way back from BVF 08 where he won best modified!


Here's how shes looking now with a fresh OG panel from the states that was let into the body


A couple of an old friend that we need to see on the road more often next year! Come on Stu pull your finger out!

YEAHHH BODY OFF! found more crappy reapairs but at least im starting to make progress! a big thanks to a hungover big tom for helping me!

Livin for the weekend

So if you happen to come by the absolute vw workshop on a Friday you will most likely find two dudes working on rusty ass vw's and listing to one of the greatest play lists ever invented......... this play list has been coined "The DNV Friday list of dreams" Without a doubt this bad boy sets you up for a good weekend of partying!

I also headed into the workshop this Saturday to practice some welding skills. Got a little carried away and made a mini version of a front beam. its a little twisted, should of jigged it haha


Me and tom also headed to rock city in Nottingham last night to watch alexisonfire and a few other bands. Was real impressed by ghost of a thousand! it was a good night apart from the expensive bad tasting beer! Good to catch up with old friends and make some new one too!

WORD UP! ok so this is my first post on the blog!
i spent some time last night taking my beetle to peices to start a resto on it!

Big Tom got busy on the wiring loom in ash's bay at work today whilst i had a look over the chesil 356 replica and the red split passed it m.o.t after rebuilding it completly!

I headed over to the barn this weekend to pick up a few tools and tuck my marathon over into the corner for the winter. I managed to grab a few shots of the motor i just detailed and installed.

Me and Tommy T also did a spot of partying this friday night too...... seeing as it was fridaynight partynight.
